Because of the nature of the industry, The Quickening only employs a small permanent staff. This crew is augmented as needed by a team of freelance professionals.

If you feel that your experience and abilities are appropriate then you can send us a brief resume to the address shown on the contact page. We tend to keep pretty busy, so we can't guarantee to respond to your resume, but rest assured that we will read it and take note of your skills.

Please do not phone or call in person at the workshop unless requested to do so. The process of model and prop making involves a lot of attention critical tasks involving resins and paints that set quickly. We simply can't afford the time for casual chats, much as we'd like to.

It's worth noting that most of the freelance technicians we use have other sources of income as the industry is too specialised for them to make a full time income from prop making and FX.
